This site is maintained by the CMG Toronto Local, also known as the LEC (Local Executive Committee) and is meant to highlight things going on in the Guild that are of interest to our Toronto membership. See the "Your Local Committee" page if you want to know who we are. | What's Going On... |
Be part of the Solution
There are many ways to become actively involved with the Toronto local. There are several permanent committees, such as the Local Grievance Committee; the Joint CMG-Management committee, a forum for resolving ongoing issues and challenges in our workplace; and the local Joint Employment Committee, which helps members who have been declared redundant.
Volunteers can also help with our newsletter - writing or distribution - with planning for the annual Labour Day Parade or the CBC picnic, or work with new members, become departmental stewards, contribute to or help maintain our website.
If you're interested in any of these committees or activities, send an e-mail to help@cmgtoronto.ca.
